Chase the dying stars.
Bank the JOLT.
Star Jolt is a 60-second score-chaser where you slingshot a rocket between collapsing stars. One thumb, no brakes, no mercy. Built in Sydney, played worldwide, free on Google Play.
Built around one perfect mechanic
Every Star Jolt system feeds the gravity slingshot: the combos, the hazards, the timer. Learn the mechanic and the whole game opens up.
The Gravity Slingshot
Dive into a star's pull field, ride the arc, and release at the peak to convert gravity into raw velocity. Deep entries pay more. They also burn.
Multiplier timer
Six seconds between wells before the chain dies. Slingshots pause it.
Ride the red line
Hold the burn for the biggest boosts, but never cross the overload band.
Zero-lag input
Touch-to-thrust under 20 ms on supported displays. Read our 120 Hz setup guide.
What the board reads during a record-pace run through Sector 9. Every number is tuned to keep the run readable at speed.
| Entry velocity | 412 m/s |
| Well depth | 71% |
| Release window | 180 ms |
| Combo chain | x10 MAX |
| Hazard proximity | +250 bonus |
The board remembers everything
Season 6 is live and the top of the ladder is separated by tenths of a second. This is the current standing in the Oceania region.
median first-week score
Most pilots crack the top 10,000 within a month of daily play. The board is reset each season, so the window is always open.

Fourteen tracks of FM-synthesis synthwave by Mara Ellison. The mix is an instrument: stems layer in as your multiplier climbs, and the engine pitch cue tells you when to release.

DroidPlayWhat wants you dead out there
The Omega Star Storm
Temporary gravity wells spawn mid-flight for eight seconds at a time. Your route is never the same twice, and neither is your escape.
They pull before they bite
Proximity mines that drag your line off course. Slingshot exits destroy them.
Sideways, without warning
Invisible turbulence walls that shove your trajectory laterally mid-arc.
Gravity you cannot see
Dead stars with active pull fields. They score nothing and wreck everything.
Tactical note from the dev team
Hazards spawn on a fixed cadence per sector. Fly the same seed enough and you will feel the rhythm; the Omega storm is the only exception, and it is the exception that decides leaderboards.
One thumb does everything
Hold to thrust. Release to drift. Swipe to bank into the next well. Three gestures, sixty seconds, infinite depth.
- Thrust and entry angle: hold duration sets your approach speed; the entry angle is decided before the star appears.
- Inertia dump: a flicked release sheds velocity for hairpin escapes from deep wells.
Why it works
Every top-100 pilot uses the same three gestures. The difference is timing, not technique, which is why coaching sessions focus on replay review instead of finger gymnastics.
How a run reaches a million
Three rules keep the chain alive
- Complete each well inside six seconds of the last. Slingshots pause the timer.
- Touch nothing. One graze drops you to x1 instantly.
- Deep passes pay 250 base. At x10 a chain of ten pays 25,000; the same chain at x1 pays 2,500.
The maths favour greed once your ring accuracy passes 60 percent. Read the full breakdown in our combo maths piece.
One course. Every pilot. 24 hours.
The daily challenge generates a fresh course at midnight UTC and gives it to every player on the planet. Same stars, same hazards, same clock. The board is pure execution.

Skill decides the leaderboard in Star Jolt. Money buys cosmetics, merch, and services around the game. Never an advantage inside it.
