Patch 1.4 lands the Omega sector, the first endgame course built entirely around chained slingshots, plus a full rebalance of the pickup economy and eleven bug fixes.

The Omega sector

Omega is a twelve-star corridor with no safe rest zones. Its gravity wells are tighter than anything earlier in the game, and the hazard spacing assumes you are already comfortable with deep entries. It unlocks after clearing Sector 8 with any multiplier above x8.

New hazards

Grav mines pull your line toward them until destroyed or escaped. Shear bands push sideways without warning. The star storm at the sector midpoint spawns temporary wells for eight seconds, doubling the routing puzzle.

"Omega was designed to end the 'I have cleared everything' complaint. It did."

Patch 1.4 design notes

Pickup economy rework

Star shards now pay a flat bonus that scales with your multiplier instead of a fixed value. The practical effect: pickups matter most when you are already hot, which rewards the route planning veterans were asking for.

Balance and bug fixes

Engine pitch cues now play through bluetooth latency correctly, the Sector 6 out-of-bounds hole is sealed, ghost desync on slow connections is fixed, and the post-run screen stops eating inputs. The full list ships in-game under Settings, About.

What the lab saw first

Beta Lab members flew Omega for three weeks before release. Their telemetry cut the intended clear rate from a brutal 4 percent to a hard-but-fair 11 percent before the public build shipped.
